Mesut Şahin
Founder
Mesut Şahin received his undergraduate degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2014 and his master's degree in Lighting Design from Politecnico di Milano University in 2020.
He started his professional journey in 2015 with the Emaar Square Mall - Istanbul project and his next stop was Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He played an important role in the successful completion of Damac Towers by Paramount and later Address Downtown by Emaar projects. The development of his interdisciplinary design approach and international working experience were his most important gains during his years here.
Mesut Şahin spent the following years working in prestigious Lighting Design studios in Italy and Turkey. During this time, he specialized in indoor and outdoor lighting design.
He founded LIGHTORY Lighting Design studio in 2022 and continues his work there.
Merve Şahin
Business Development Manager
Merve Şahin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations in 2017 and her master’s degree in MBA in 2019, both from Yıldız Technical University.
Since beginning their professional career in 2018, she has gained extensive experience working for global companies across a variety of sectors. This diverse background has equipped them with a strong strategic perspective and business acumen.
In 2024 Merve joined the LIGHTORY team as a Business Development Manager, where they continue to apply this cross-sector expertise to drive success.
